I'm loving this!

Epic is certainly the word for the first episode: art, soundtrack (!!!!!!!!), direction
While the plot is in a way generic it still is interesting enough to not let it bother ya

I hope they keep it up, this could be a classic in the making
Haven't seen you a while now.

I'm digging this show, I will follow it but will still grab the BDs to Archive.

HELL YEAH !! The damsel in distress and the killing of innocent people and all those mechas. Even if the main char is a wimp compared to Lelouch this did have a Code Geass scent !

^ Sore wa kimatte iru desho ? This show has code geass written all over it. Except maybe the anti hero element which is like the most important one ?
Damn I want my own private army now..

Finally. Look's pretty decent. Animation also seems nice. Haven't watched it though. Will watch pretty soon. Hope it will continue to be good.

No way not even close... but this did remind me of an movie I watch  call Utera or Utena something like that where a female pulls out this other girls heart and it turns into a sword.... I think there was a series too but I'm only watched the movie and just that scene I think.... called really remember anything else.

I got to watch the first episode last night. It was awesome! This is the level of animation I always expect out of Production I.G. I'm glad there was not tons of dialog in this first episode, so that my eyes could enjoy watching.

Guess I need to be listed as one of the suckers. It's so easy to fall in love with Inori.

I like that it didn't take 24 episodes fro the hero to be a hero. I like that this anime broke many "rules" about what is supposed to happen.

Isn't that more the realm of Persona 4?

That's Dibs, like the ice cream treat, not dips, like most drivers on the road. lol Anyway, I must have the sensei, the others would be some statutory crime for me.

I am really looking forward to this series. After watching episode one, I am excited for the character developments. Unsure high schooler + super tough pop diva weapon container love interest + giant mechs + ninja rebel leader + giant swords = One helluvah show?

I liked the artwork most in the first episode. If this goes Code Geass, i hope it will at least be more cool and less fag.

I didn't hear anyone sounding like Lelouche, so it's already less fag.

I don't know how I feel about this show. On the one hand I really like the premise, it seems pretty cool (and MECHS!). On the other hand I'm sick of these motherfuckin snakes overdone highschool stock protagonists. Maybe its just because I'm getting old, but what happened to the good ole days, where we had the badasses, you know the Spike Spiegels and Mugens of the anime world. The characters who kicked ass and took names. I guess I'm just tired of the "whiny unsure highschool kid, that gets thrown into extreme situation, and comes out victorious" motif. I think the story might work better if the main character was a more poignant anti-hero instead of a "I must help the girl!" hero.

I'll keep watching for this though ;)

These kids stick to themselves, carry angst in their words.
Where we'll never be a part of this cursed fucking town, so we stand amongst ourselves and watch it burn to the ground.

Oh yeah ... they had me from start with the second episode: LOVED THE DRUMS!
I had the track from last episode during the void unveil constantly in my head for the last week, soundtrack is truly of high quality

Seems they aren't going soft on this one:

Anyway this show has so many good points it makes you forgive the few bad ones instantly, good going Production I.G.and thank you!

WOW! Episode two was amazing. Great twists already! I am getting a bit of a Code Geass vibe from it, but that's not a bad thing. This seriously has potential to be like... top 5 favorite of mine. Loving everything about this one.

Well, that was an adventure of an episode. So far only thing I have to complain about are Commie's karaokes, but the series itself is very good.
