So here we are again. The series has ENORMOUS potential once more, but now we are far more constrained by the fact that we don't have too many more episodes left. They can make an epic finale, but I really hope they have a plan.

I don't know if you guys saw it, but in the OP, Shu has this crystal right arm thing, with a trace looking pattern of energy. Interesting ...

Also, more food for thought, what allies do you think Shu still has. I think Ayase might go with him instead of Gai, despite her previous feelings. I'd say Yahiro also probably. I'm also going to bet that his mom is going to show up and be like "yeah I orchestrated this so you could be a normal boy again. Now lets run away" sort of deal. I dunno lots of potential twists.

Railgun thread is here people.

If you're going to do that, you might as well also redirect some of the other people in this thread to the "I hate your fucking guts, you retard" thread.

Wait, where is that at?

Cute, huh?

I want to join the prediction party-party... or shall I name it the look-at-me-I-can-try-to-predict-things-and-somehow-believe-people-will-actually-congratulate-me-for-it-even-tho-nobody-will-even-give-a-fuck-in-two-months-anyway-and-I'll-actually-have-to-make-a-post-about-it-then-to-shamelessly-remind-others-that-fact-in-the-tiny-chance-that-I'm-remotely-close-to-being-right club.

You reminded me of one of the most basic rules of the internet:

-Even if you are right in an argument, and win ... you still lose.
The only thing I wanted to do is so far is believing that Gai was cloned/resurrected cuz that is unlikely, but even with the story being progressed as it is, we really can't scratch that out. Basically if they can clone anyone, why didn't they clone Mana in the first place ?

It's unlikely, but Segai (the heterochromia guy) seems to hint on that the Liquid Ocelot theory is right.
seeing as both people haven't been in one scene together as of now.

also, congrats on the captain obvious predictions:

Stepmother and stepson. All is good in that regard ;) As much as I was disappointed from the last few episodes this one makes it difficult for me to keep hating this show...

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

MILF = Win.
Ayase x Shu elements = Double Win
Unlocking New Powers = Triple Win
Badass posing for the camera = Priceless

What more could you ask for?

Guilty Crown is by no means a well thought out and masterful anime. But I'd say all in all it is worth a watch. At the very least a one night marathon for a fan of the genre.

It also follows my prediction quite well. Which just lost it's masterful experience. No offence, but I hope for bad ending, at least something cruel would be nice.

I'm all for MILF, personally I like Haruka (i think).
Ayase is also pretty cool, and the girl that hogs her as well.

Everyone else is crappy, Shu and Inori included.
Gai actually is the bad guy we, or at least I, expected him to be at the start of the show.
Not a clone but still stupid miraculous recovery, I wonder if Mana didn't have anything to do with it. Probably did.

So I got myself through the episodes from 16 onwards till the recent one... that was friggin' hard

As good as the series started it really got completely fucked with the lowest point being 16 till 18, whatever was brought 19 & 20 (a few epic scenes but lots of confusing BS) it can't redeem itself any more in my eyes

I'm just hanging on because I got this far and hope we at least are going to get a few epic scenes as the "plot" can't be rescued
Such a waste ... this had so much potential but now is one big "luxurytrainwreck"

Say Tweed, would you like a dead end in this show ?

I mean, they all lose and that would be the only way this can redeem itself I think.

Guess am one of the few who actually enjoys watching >.>, its a pretty fail geass clone attempt to me, however its still one of the most enjoyable shounen-super power animes for a while....guess thats saying something about the state of the genre eh.

A dead end would be nice, the virus should engulf the earth and everybody dies...Shuu and Inori can crystallize in each others arms...the end!

there are few of us, don't worry :)

well I don't see sad ending in this one, well, in worst case scenario only Shu will die(and Gai), but he will save Inori, and Inori will cure others whit her song.

Them all dying is not a sad ending, it's a blessing to the shitty storytelling they give here. Different direction could have made this show great, or at least good, but they fucked up early and stuck to it.

Edit: ep21
/facepalmed.
The very scientist that pushed everything towards rebirth of Mana is now shocked that it's happening ?

This is beyond stupid.

I don't think it was him being shocked as much as in awe that it is happening in front of him.

I definitely feel like they ran out of time here. That episode was good if you ask me, but felt kind of rushed. They spend too much time early on introducing the undertakers and the classmates, and then didn't have enough time to finish up the ending. The next episode is likely to be super rushed, and then we'll have the conclusion.

I'm not going to give final verdict until next week, but I'd say the show wasn't that bad all in all. Worth watching once.
