Also, what's wrong with the plot? why is it "so bad"? not that i ever care about the plot on anything, i'm in for the direction/pacing on every show.
When a show fails completely at the suspension of disbelief then the plot/storytelling is just sub-par. Every standard trope in the book was used without having any sense of cohesion. Loose ends weren't tied, erratic behavior stayed without plausible explanation, in-universe rules didn't make sense anymore, a hasty resolution that came from a shoddy build-up, etc etc.... Shu had what, 3 heroic BSOD's? Gai's character was non-sensical ... actually most of the characters were.
Thus all in all a complete mess
and if you think it has so many failed potential, how you think it should have gone?
I'm not a writer/director, doesn't mean I can't know what is good or bad (You don't have to be a cook to know if your food is good, yet if you have some knowledge of cooking you can make a more nuanced judgement)
