you're wasting your time on Havoc, xShadow.

The fact that a lot of people haven't realized this astounds me :P

i think it's more like people give him chance. pretty sure anyone who's seen his posts would realize that he won't magically be NOT <insert adjective*>.

*--annoying, idiotic, stubborn, etc. we have our experiences pretty sure there's more to him than those.

I keep marathoning the first 4 episodes every few days and I watch the first episode (sometimes 2nd episode and 4th episode individually, too) once or more than once. I'm disappointed on how each Blu-ray volume contains TWO fucking episodes and costs a fortune to purchase ... One thing I hate about Japan's Anime Market. I'm dying to watch episodes 7 and 8 in BD ...

As xShadow stated is true, the lyrics also back Inori's actions and what went down in the last episode. The lyrics also clearly talks about a "crown with thrones". It's all there, you just gotta catch it. But I still agree with people, the main character is sometimes a pussy and needs a serious backbone.

Also, how the hell did that Genome Void material get in Shu's pocket inside his right-hand shirt? I watched episode 1 a lot ... I don't see anything physically "shown" about it.

Finished this show fe days ago and even after thinking a bit about it I do not understand why it have such low rating as it was quite nice show. I know that some think that main male character is a sissy, but he was not quite a sissy...well he did question himself and so on, but he did what he was supposed to in the end and so on without crying and taking 3 eps to decide on doing or not doing something. The story and plot also was quite interesting, animation wasn't bad at all, music also should have been good as it did not annoy me.

...Men are so necessarily mad that it would be another twist of madness not to be mad...

I agree, lol. I didn't like the middle a lot, I think for like 3 episodes or so. I wanted Shu to have a real backbone in the right times where he could have been during the middle of the season. It felt really "dragging" but like you said, taking everything into account things does make sense and develop uniquely.

Curious about this series now and was just wondering: which subs should I go for? From what I've seen only Commie and Doki have fully subbed the show so far.

Doki all the way. First 6 episodes are in Blu-ray from Doki as well, grab them instead of the TV version.

So. I'm watching this anime for 3 days or so, and I've watched 10 episodes so far. It has totaly enchanted me :D
And my fav char until now is Gai. He's cool, handsome, and his seiyuu *__* I adore Nakamura Yuichi)))

Edit: Ending could have been soooooooo much better. I was really disappointed :((( but still very beautiful anime, and great music. I have to give credit to that.

Soooo just marathoned this, didn't think it was all that bad at all despite the general negative gist of previous sentiments.

Highlights?

Oh, totally forgot about this anime.

I watched "Lost Christmas" a few days ago. Well, NO PLOT whatsoever. I didn't expect much anyways. But I thought they'd show us the disaster and such.

Just don't tell me they will make second season. It will be a pain to watch.

I had high expectations from this anime when I started watching it (the series). But wtf?!?!?! I mean I noticed it was a bit too fast-paced in the first two episodes, but didn't give it much thought at first.

The only thing that made this anime worth watching was music, I mean Supercell, they did great job. Oh and animation was not bad either.

Actually only one thing was bad. NO PLOT!!!!! NONE!!!!!!!

I'm not going to change this opinion. It developed after watching anime and giving it some (quite a big amount) of thinking.

Actually I never got this disappointed with any other anime.

Gotta say, I thought Gai redeemed himself a little at the end, he still just wanted Mana... at the cost of wiping out humanity.  ::)

Saw Lost Christmas, there is a lot of room to expand on the two new characters. I'm still disappointed with how Segai ended in Guilty Crown, he was the perfect villain to rise and become more intimidating and powerful overtime. We might see a prequel series for this. I'd be so happy.

I'm gonna keep a close watch on this.

Prequel might be interesting. If they do something like this, I just hope they wont make it as plotless as the main series.

I really had high expectations from this anime, and being disappointed like that. It would be good if they do something decent. Though I'm really doubtful about this.

GC wasn't plot less at all. The problem is they rushed it. Like I've said in other threads, GC could've easily been a 2+ season series.

Being honest, that Lost Christmas ep seemed sorta random, but I suppose it was a stab to probably gauge interest in another series in the same universe, while making a pitch for people to buy the game.

Just finished this series. I enjoyed it although the last couple episodes left me cold. I think it would of been great if Shu would of died along with Inori. I think allowing him to live takes something away from the series.

Hmm, I didn't look at it from that perspective. Now that you do mention it thou', it would have made the series a lot cooler. I thought Inori would have lived, but when she died I had like a flash back of all the things she did and the lyrics that was surrounding her which made her stand out so well as a developed character. It makes you wonder how well she was produced and focused on.
