I love how you keep trying to weasel out of responsibility for this.
Weasel out what responsibility?
Nevermind~
Right.
The age of the post doesn't matter. By all intents the information is still there. You posted ages ago. You bump the topic. I give my 2 cents on something I saw brought up. You then took up the argument.
Your
2 cents is the argument.
It turned out to be better than what I expected. I'm not even talking about personal feelings - but subjectively and in general - the series was different and it was good. Are you taking a step back and scaling the anime from a general point of view? It was rushed, it did need a second season, it needed better structure in the middle and towards the end, but they did the series just about right. It didn't turn out to be like any other series out there. Also, the animation wasn't wasted.
And that's your opinion. Okay, that's nice.
In general, it's
not just an opinion. Keep reading below.
Time doesn't matter.
It does matter. Reason? It's off-topic and it's old. If it was on-topic, it would be legitimate.
What's hilarious is that you keep linking to that thread without in fact ever reading what my opinion in it was. You agreed with what I said in that same thread. Just probably not my negatives in my first post in that thread. Hell, I was arguing with Havoc in the same thread.
That's a given and I remember you posting there and I remember not reading all of your posts nor Havoc's posts.
Are you done? Or do you want to keep going? I have all night while working on Adobe PhotoShop and LightRoom.
I don't really want to argue with you because you have no argument outside of your personal opinion of the series and your claim that "everyone else just doesn't get it." This is obviously supported with various types of information that us lower beings cannot understand, apparently. We just don't have enough IQ to comprehend the complex character and plot developments in this engrossing work of art. There's no way that we could have other reasons for not liking it. That's impossible.
If your going to justify yourself and others who are similar to yourself as "lower beings", then that's on you. That's how you see it. That's not how I see it or I have
ever viewed it. The anime itself - quoting off of Dictionary.com -
Guilty (having committed an offense, crime, violation, or wrong, especially against moral or penal law; justly subject to a certain accusation or penalty)
Crown (the power or dominion of a sovereign), the title itself makes sense and it's obvious it's not for the weak heart nor those whom are seeking your-similar-type-anime ... The first few episodes people compared it to Code Geass, after a while was it really comparable to Code Geass? No, nothing between the two gives a major (note: MAJOR) connection. Can you imagine if Guilty Crown turned out to be the way you wanted it to be ... say, Shu is pretty fucking bad ass and owns everything? That's stupid. There was sense put in the title itself. Not to mention the opening lyrics and ending lyrics are not just some words, they're actually the feelings of Inori and how she's going to hold up for Shu and it relates
perfectly with the title
and how the series unfolds. Makes sense? ... Of course it does. If it doesn't then you simply are arrogant. The series is right there, with the words, the characters, the story and everything else in the box and outside of it.
When I got to the middle of the series, I knew shit was going to flop after the death of Guy. After few more episodes, it made sense of what the lyrics, Inori and Shu's feelings, and how the situation is moving very awkwardly from how we (including myself) wanted it to be .. it all fell under the title which is
Guilty Crown. Not to mention how Shu's reaction was to having so much power and abusing it, then regretting it and
then picking himself back up. Let's just not forget he's a teenager for fuck sakes. Critical thinking is important. Yes?
