Now I wonder how he will get out of this situation, I'm pretty sure the undertakers or what their name was will just pop up and save his little ass.

Well I don't see him breaking himself out on his own. Since his power only works on people younger than 17. tehehe I don't know why that makes me laugh so much.. Anyways, I was surprised that Inori kinda just stood looking at Shu dumbfounded and didn't try to get off the train. And I totally couldn't stop laughing earlier when Inori asked if she could stay with him forever. Little early for the corny lines imo. But my guess is that he'll be saved during some interrogation scene, since that "Major" has a some sort of fetish for that.. And then he'll probably join the undertakers/funeral parlor, well if I were the terrorist leader I'd play the "you owe us card".

It's quite hard to get off a train when the doors close, although the train just started started it can setill be stopped with the emergency breaks, so no problem there, the cliffhanger was placed in the right moment.

You stick an arm or leg in the way and it opens up, well at least in DC and Saigon. But whatever it's better this way anyways, just a little shocked to not see her try to do anything.

If the doors are closed you can't stick your arm in it, and the train will not start moving until the doors are closed, period.

Okay now I'm arguing about train doors... ugh I can't seem to get along with anyone here lol well it's not that funny.. actually kinda depressing... *sigh*

All I was trying to say is that I was surprised she didn't attempt to get out the door (before it closed). That's all...

It's probably because she didn't have time for that, he was pushed out just as the doors were closing.
That's how I saw it at least, there was little time for reaction I think.

And that's probably the case, when you really think about it, a lot people would have done what she did. Stare dumbstruck because that happened so suddenly. And yes that was the was a good cliffhanger, it'll make viewers tune in.

Seems like I started another pointless argument, actually really pointless.. train doors sheesh.. sorry Havoc

Ashall, don't worry about Havok. No one else does. lol I was going to say something about Havok, train doors and getting off, but Nevermind, I think I just did.

My take on that scene. Inori didn't do anything, because she may have been thinking that he did not want to be around her. He has not been all warm and fuzzy over the terrorist group has he? No. So with that in mind, if someone jumps out of a train at the last second, would you automatically jump too? Maybe for a best friend or family, but relative strangers? Probably not.

But, I think she discovered too late, that was not actually the case. Her expression was an excellent example of a slap in the face kind of WTF? as she is riding away on the train looking back.

It is clear, she will not always have Paris.

I'm glad I squeezed watching this in before I left for work. It gave me something to think about besides having to go to work...sigh/ick. Do they have a burgeoning drug problem in Japan today? Or is it just an edgy topic to write about to help with marketing? I think it had been a few years since a show had something to say about drugs/users. Now this makes the second show in as many seasons.

Do you think our hero will understand that secretive drug users have untold depths of paranoia? That they will do anything to protect their secret?

About the OP. I was thinking that you could make a US Country and Western hit if you just translated that song. Keep the music the same, the lyrics same same. That is one great sad song.

Uh... I've only watched Commie, so I can't help with that much :P But they've been doing a good job and come out pretty quick. No complaints from me.

Jaybug- I don't think translating Japanese music to English will result in many hits. Didn't work that well for my idol hikki. Btw just to clear things up because I get asked this all the time. No I don't like Utada because of Kingdom Hearts.. gr only games I ever played were on the NES. She does what I wish I could do maintain a life in both the U.S. and her native country. It doesn't hurt that her songs are stellar as well. tehehe

Dbml- Okay I've been getting Commie as well, just wanted to make sure they were some what accurate. Oh wait CoalGuys has ep 4.. so getting that one!

^fandub of that amazing song. A cappella even. Usually can't stand fandubs because they suck... but this one is amazing. Looking forward to the full length version.

I don't know Japanese, so I have no idea if the translation from Commie is accurate or not. I just care if it flows well. I will never get CoalGuys though, unless it's a last resort. Their trolling in Toradora killed them for me.

D*** it! I keep thinking CoalGuys is CoalGirls...

Btw the singer is kinda flat. I'm a musician so I have grounds to say I could sing this better (not trying to sound pompous). And not many songs of this tone get much radio play so audiences would never really get a chance to hear it unless they were fans and sought it out themselves.

Hell "This is the One" had all the Kingdom Hearts song in it and it still didn't sell. And that is probably one of my favorite English albums of time. The problem is this: Japanese have interest in Western music but Western countries have almost no interest in Eastern music.

The other approach about downloading broadcast versions is that if you know you will be either buying the bluray or downloading the fansubbed bluray version, you might decide to download the smallest filesized versions for now.  That way, when you re-download the same episode again that was subbed from bluray, the amount of megabytes thrown away won't be as many.

Ah I've been getting the bigger ones... Thanks for the information, will start being more conscious of that.

Tatsujiin- all we really know for now is that she pilots the mech of the undertakers and has a crush on the boss.

Edit: Finally got around to watching ep four.. I liked it even though some of the action and was unbelievable. But then again anime isn't held down by such silly things as physics. Last half the episode= Awesomeness! :3 This has captured my attention again, can't wait for the ep tomorrow!

I have mixed feelings about Inori and Gai. . .
(click to show/hide)

another part of me wishes for them 2 to be happy and cliche-ish
