Just marathoned this.
Who doesn't love Inaba?

Waiting till the end of March saddens me though.

Well, I guess Iori got what was coming to her, for keeping up false appearances all the time. When a girl keeps you on a leash for so long, without implying that she actually wants to go forward eventually, I can't blame Taichi for switching to Inaban, who's proven that she truly has the hots for him, while Iori has been mostly passive all the time.

I thought these 4 episodes were much better than what the main show has shown me. Not that it was bad, just not as good.

It also shows how Iori was technically the one Balloon Vine had targeted all along, and that (some of) the others needed to change to achieve whatever goal he has set in mind.

From what I heard, there's more to the story than what we've seen so far, and it's not the last we've seen of BV, but I doubt that all the bad rep this show got over the past few months has done any good for its sales, so we probably won't get to see more of this in the future.

I also thought these last 4 episodes were much better.

^I believe they have animated the first 4 novels and there are currently 9, so that leaves enough for a second season, but if the sales aren't too great, than I don't know if there will be a second season.

Still I'm hoping they will animated the other novels too because I really liked this series.

''bad reputation'' >_>

Well, dunno why they released these 4 eps later, but well, their quality was good.
Of course I was a bit surprised when it didn't all air in one go.
But I think, if the series is good enough, even if they made something that isn't generally well liked, they will make a 2nd season.

But really >_> the ending wasn't surprising.

Dereban.... he he hee....

but yeah, if these 27 eps covered only the 1st 4 novels, I hope they make a 2nd season :D

Okay, understatement of the year, I suppose..

Maybe they weren't content with the quality back them, and wanted to take some time off to work on it. Or maybe they just didn't plan for 17 episodes to start with. I can't remember if it was ever specified.

I certainly hope so. The show was quite entertaining, even if it took a while to gain momentum.

Well, Taichi x InaDereban was hinted at long before, but I didn't expect Iori losing it again and dumping Taichi after all. But, it was all for the greater good, I suppose. At least Taichi got himself a girl he knows he can trust and won't backstab him at the very last minute.

I wish it was 27 episodes. :P

Am I the only one who thought the anime was too cheesy? Oh well. Still yet to watch the recently aired finale.

@1000mAh : By "bad reputation", you mean the issue about the VA being hired but actually wasn't and was made fun by the other VA's as well as the producer of the anime itself, right?

wow just watched all 4 episodes in a row. . .I must say this anime is very very good

even though I already sealed it, I shall re-seal it for being so epic. It had a nice closure, but left it open enough to get another set of OVAs or even a season if they get interesting new chars. . .hell they can even make a new series just featuring the bad guy and a whole new set of peeps . . .

I loled so much at him thinking "YES!! A KISS FROM MY LITTLE SISTER!"

(click to show/hide)

I saw it from a diff. sub group (instead of HS) and I was thrown off at first cause he wasnt "heartseed" anymore. . .

I hadn't known about that prank, or this show's bad reputation as a result, until now, but I'm really disappointed to hear about it. This was such an amazingly well-made show, it's a real shame that it's probably never going to get a second season because one of the producers was a massive dick. Given how many books there are left to animate, I was really looking forward to one :(

But yeah, I really enjoyed this, though I thought the Michi Random arc was slightly less good than the others (in some ways the emotion projecting thing felt a bit forced, somehow. I'm not really sure how to describe it). But it was still really enjoyable, and overall this show is one of the best anime dramas I've ever seen.

It even beats Clannad Afterstory in terms of storytelling (though not in sheer emotional power), and is nearly as good as Anohana, which is probably my favourite anime drama.

But yeah - 8/10, IMO. Shame about the arseholes who've stopped us from ever being able to see any more of it.

Dmon's release appeared on BBT. There are 4 extra episodes. I checked one of them and it's 30 minutes long. I don't know what's inside those episodes.

But ... I remember NOTHING about this series. I know they switch bodies. But nothing else.

Probably the final arc - it didn't air on TV, if you remember.

Personally, I really enjoyed Kokoro Connect. I agree it got a bit over-dramatic at times, but truth be told, I actually quite enjoy that, so it suited me fine. It's a shame we'll probably never see a second season :(
