Well, the background wasn't my choice. If i'd had my choice the background would have remained solid blue and the snake would have remained green. But, my boss wanted it to feel more jungle-themed, and handed me the images of the rocks and the grass (the rocks started out simply being red squares), so this is what it ended up as.
Thanks though, I thought he turned out okay (the snake).
and yeah, it kinda looks like the rock is floating on teh grass too, but there wasn't too much I could do about that.. I needed the rocks as close to square as possible because I just used a square bounding box (mapping the edges would have been a nightmare
)
and so trying to get the grass to "fold" around the rock would have sucked. A lot. I tried. xD
