The General Chit Chat Thread 2

Well, my latest home improvement project is going well.  My contractors are in the midst of repairing the popcorn ceiling in my garage.  They resecured the drywall that was sagging in a few places, caulked around the various gaps in the ceiling, retaped / resealed all of the seams between the drywall, and got the first round of popcorn sprayed on.  My garage looks way better.  Tomorrow, they finish the popcorn and install some new insulation, and I'm going to repaint the interior.
 
This is proving to be an expensive year so far, but I'm pretty happy to get all of these various home improvements done.

I just rode through the pouring rain and an extreme tornado warning on a damn motorcycle. At one point I hit about 4 - 5 inches of water doing 35mph and hydroplaned almost losing control. If anyone has never hydroplaned on 2 wheels, it's the scariest shit ever and I highly suggest avoiding it.

But seriously, so many bricks were shat in such a short amount of time. Now that I look back on it it probably wasn't the greatest idea I've ever had. Now to go start my bike to see if any water got into the front intakes. I hit a few deep patches that launched water 7-8 feet into the air completely blocking my view on quite a few occasions, and seeing as the air intakes are in front it's possible some water may have gotten in there.
