Visual novels, just like any other game, you click to get through the story/action. Unlike most games in this modern age, they actually have a story to tell.

Hydroplaning with motorcycles is not so bad if you're going straight, if you've got a corner, you're out in the ditch or in the woods.

I want to go to the Isle of Man. Fuck yes no speed limits.

Here in Florida it's illegal for an officer to give chase to a motorcyclist going above 100mph, so there's already pretty much no speed limits here. Unless of course you really screw up and get the helicopter on your tail.

Wouldn't they just take a picture or a video of your plate and you'd be screwed?

We have ”dummy plates” that we put on before we go out so that is a non-issue
