...so I'm visiting London for a couple of days in about a month. As I've never been to the island, do you fellas have any recommendations for what I should do there?
I have nothing on my mind at the moment other than to check if my accent sounds at least somewhat like theirs (RP, that is).
The British museum is always worth a visit (my uncle's curator of one of the main galleries, so I often go there when I'm in London). There's usually something interesting there, though i guess It's maybe not everyone's first choice.
Buckingham palace and the houses of parliament are obvious places to go sightseeing, as is tower bridge. And the tower of London is a must-see.
There are millions of things to do in London though, so mostly it depends on what you're interested in. It's been a while since I last went there, so my memory's probably fairly rusty, but pick up a guidebook or two and see what there is to do. If its somewhere I've been, I can advise you on whether its any good or not.
