There's a new Humble Bundle!

This time around, instead of games, you get several CD:s from artists who have participated in making the soundtracks for games (like Christopher Tin and Jonathan Coulton).

I bought it solely for Christopher's debut album, as his music is as magical as the soundtracks of Ghibli-movies :]

...so I'm visiting London for a couple of days in about a month. As I've never been to the island, do you fellas have any recommendations for what I should do there?

I have nothing on my mind at the moment other than to check if my accent sounds at least somewhat like theirs (RP, that is).

So is it pure vacation, or business and pleasure trip?
And do you want to do the "typical tourist stuff, or do you want to avoid it?

Im asking because I want to go to London myself soon, so also interested in tips...

The problem with the world is that the intelligent  people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.

I got it as a birthday present, so I guess it falls under the "pure vacation" category, although I don't know what separates it from "pleasure trip".
I've never been there, so I guess it's unavoidable to some degree, but I'm really sick of "typical tourist stuff" now. CGPGrey made me want to visit City of London for fun, though.

Wait, didn't you take a break from the morons of BakaBT, Goldie?

The British museum is always worth a visit (my uncle's curator of one of the main galleries, so I often go there when I'm in London). There's usually something interesting there, though i guess It's maybe not everyone's first choice.

Buckingham palace and the houses of parliament are obvious places to go sightseeing, as is tower bridge. And the tower of London is a must-see.

There are millions of things to do in London though, so mostly it depends on what you're interested in. It's been a while since I last went there, so my memory's probably fairly rusty, but pick up a guidebook or two and see what there is to do. If its somewhere I've been, I can advise you on whether its any good or not. :)

I don't think most people are morons, I just sometimes wish people would think before the speake. This also includes myself.

However, some days my tolerance for stupidity is very low.
Then I find it wiser to stay away, than to get irritated.
Being annoyed over stuff on things on the internet is a waste of time and energy;)
It's, after all, just pixels.;)

I did not know where to post this... But I just wanna talk about this song that is just stuck in my head for the past 4 years!!! Since this is the GCC thread. This is the hottest (and weird) song I've ever heard! :D

Stop! Stop! Stop! - Nu Virgos
The three singers are Ukrania/Russian models. They change their line-up quite often. Eh wtf just wiki it!
