My unicorn is a beautiful being. To say those things about such a majestic beast... is unforgivable.

I have to admit, the ava and signature were worth a laugh.

If I didn't have to work full-time, I'd probably never leave the house except to forage for food & alcohol.  Being outside sucks, it's full of bugs and annoying people.  At home, I have TV, my PC, video games, and my guitar; what more does a person need?

So, I wanna know if you had the same reaction I did to "Welcome to the NHK".  I watched the first 2 episodes of that show and thought, "Oh, how great would it be to be that guy -- my entire life reduced to a tiny little apartment.  No complications of everyday life, no demands on my time, no pressure to meet deadlines...".  Life as a hikkikomori might not be so bad.  Intellectually, I know it's not really a healthy lifestyle, but to get some relief from some of the pressures of modern life & working full-time would be a great thing.

^ Actually I didn't watch it, so I don't have any reaction to it.

See, I thought the same thing except I'd like to do it in a different way. Traveling. Take Mushi-shi for example. Sure, his reasons are different than mine, but I'd like to travel with no real aim. To take things as they come. Handle other things that pop up as I see fit.

Meh, sometimes it's just easier to settle.  As long as I've got a hand and internet, it's good enough.

And Tyler, yeah, actually travelling could be pretty cool.  A friend of mine as a teen had an ambition to spend a year in Australia, just hiking wherever he felt like, living day to day, and working odd jobs on occasion.  It was an interesting idea, but eminently unpractical, mostly for financial reasons.

It's not too impractical, my cousin did something like that.
Sorta weird though, got training to become a cop in Toronto, then peace'd it for Australia... Whatever.

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

Nah, the idea in this particular instance predates that movie by about 20 years.   ;D

School doesn't count boyscout.
Firstly, That isn't school... i am doing a professional course and i am taking classes for it.
Secondly, if the classes do not count then what does? I do fuck around with people after the class for a while.

My unicorn is a beautiful being. To say those things about such a majestic beast... is unforgivable.
I have to admit, the ava and signature were worth a laugh.

Well it does worth something more than a laugh... if such a thing exists that is. :P

The only problem I'm seeing here is having to go out to work.
You can order food and supplies, i used to do it by calling a taxi guy, I told him what I want and he would buy it :)

Coalgirls resumed Moretsu Pirates BDs cuz WhyNot didn't release a lot of episodes yet, their backlog is like, 5 miles away.

I think WhyNot forgot totally about this project. 18 eps out and they didn't release a single one I think lol.
Gonna go check later on whynot blog to see how many eps they did release but I didn't see any RSS posts about it in like 2 months.

whoohoo, finally got MC server ready for advertising and public release. (Completely redid permissions so it's nice and neat, installed a few new management plugins, cleaned the folders and files up, etc)
