I've been waiting all day for my contractor to show up & work on my house, and he's not showing up, so we've rescheduled for tomorrow. Problem is, I'm stuck in a weird 'waiting' mood but now that I have nothing to wait for, I don't know what to do with myself. Feels like I should be doing something useful with my time, but I don't have anything I want to start or work on right now, this late in the evening.

It is hard for me to sleep with socks on. I really can't fall asleep unless they are off :/

Likewise. I think a lot of body heat dissipates through the soles of your feet (at least, it seems that way for me). With socks on when I sleep, I often get too warm.

The other funny thing about wearing socks is that they chafe against the hair on the top of my feet and irritate my skin if I wear them for too long. If it's too cool at night, I usually wrap a couple of blankets around my legs & feet and that's usually good enough.

Yeah, that sucks. I have to keep adjusting them to prevent it. And at times I'll get in a position when the hair is pulled and it hurts so bad D:

Why don't you cut it if it bothers you so much?

Hair grows back. It's easier just to not wear socks all of the time and wear them only when you need to wear shoes.

At times I wear 4 pairs of socks. Depends from many things. But now, ofta sleep.
