 oi! -_-   No-chan.
I have my opinions, which differ from Havoc's at times, true, but still -_-
and I don't prefer writing so long speculations about ''what will happen next...''
I prefer ''that was so cool and maybe [] will happen next.''     '' I think this happened because of []''    and so on.

* 1000mAh Took No-chan's post as an insult.

Ok come on. You usually post something like this:
"Was cul epsod", "Lovd tis episod", "I wandr wut will hepan next hoo~~"
and then you get a warning from Duki for short, usless posts (plus the mistakes).

^ nope :D
Duki has never warned me of short posts or bad language ;D
...and you have never seen me strike the ''serious mode'' :D ...which happens when a series is good enough.
but my usual way of posting something in there is ''Ah, cool episode'' ''hoo~ :3 meh lieks'' but then I often say something about the previous comment and at times add my own comment. SO when I post in there, I don't have stuff to say about the episodes, I've something to say about the comments. :DDD

Instead of complaining about the lack of reasonable discussions, why not start an interesting topic yourself?

How about discussing the consequences of the unlikely event that everyone on our planet became biologically immortal last week?

I'm sure that happened in something and I can't think what program it was... all I remember is it wasn't a good thing to happen.

The only fiction I know of where biological immortality occurs is in Mr. Nobody, and there the people had developed the technology for it themselves, so they had all the time they needed to adapt their society for the major change.

I'd be glad if you or someone else gave me the name of the "something" where this occurred randomly, so I can read/watch/listen to it since it's interesting :]

Ah, so you said no to my first question, and accepted my second one. Great!

So, the major thing I'm sure will happen is that as society is built around the fact that older generations die off and get replaced by newer ones, it will not hold when the number of old people will rise quickly.

What do you think, Mr. Railroad?

It's kind of pointless when I don't see Havoc there. No reasonable discussions at all. I don't feel like arguing with people and coping with their dumbness.

That was the reason a lot of people gave when they stopped posting there because of Havoc. He's the one who killed anime discussion off to begin with I believe, although that was before your time, I think (partly before my time, too, in fact).

Anyway, yeah. Ethernet cable will arrive in one week, so I have no decent internet connection until then (It's gonna be hit and miss whether I manage to post this). And I need one to be able to figure out what my timetable is going to be starting next week :-\ Such a pain.

I think if such a thing as the ability to become biologically immortal was created through scientific means, it would never make it anywhere near the general population. The founders of whatever process is required will be locked up by an international governing agency, and the ability to become immortal would only be available to those who are extremely high up in terms of power. People we probably have never even heard of who use fake credentials given to them by a national government.

Same thing goes with time travel as well.

I need help, is the director of Compiler Kiyoshi Murayama or Yasushi Murayama?
AniDB and Allcinema say Yasushi, but ANN and A-P say Kiyoshi. It's really frustrating...

Edit: ...or rather, which source is the best; Allcinema, AniDB, ANN or A-P?

Edit2:

That depends greatly on the means to get biologically immortal. If there was a way for the average person to make the drug or whatever in his/her own garage, the governing agency would not be able to hold it back what with the internet and all.

But if two other sites claim it's wrong, and one of them is from the same country as the media it's listing...
I dunno.

Edit: ...and the Japanese Wikipedia says it's Yasushi (村山靖) too...
I'll just go with Yasushi and add his name to Filmtipset.

Maybe both are in the staff.

But anyway, this assignment I'm doing atm is freaking stupid. Even on the course feed board questions keep popping up and the TAs don't know shit.
