Well, the black part has fallen off and now I have a dimple.

That should be fine. The black part was probably just freeloading your nutrients anyway and probably wasn't being of much use to the other tissue on your thumb anyway. Wear that dimple with pride knowing the threat is now gone.

Finally got chance to empty my food cupboard out and move things to their new homes now that I have shelving. That cupboard was a horror to see into properly so now it just has baking trays and fresh bread in.

Use a 3G connection on your phone to access forums. Unless they blocked access to the website on the entire campus.
