I don't believe I've ever heard a issue free moving with the movers story.

Either something breaks, gets missed, comes in late or doesn't come in at all.

Got little time and little internet access, but it seems like I can hop in once in a while. :3 The army is pretty rough, but I'm having fun so far. New friends, new enviroments and pretty much a new life. I just miss my anime quality time... though when I'm out of the recruit school, I'll get more time on my hands for such. ^^

Holy shit I almost forgot how much I hate doing IT work. Just did a fresh install of Win 7 on an elderly womans computer last night (for only $25, too) and she calls me at fucking 10am this morning (I normally wake up around 2PM) saying I didn't get a virus off her computer. Now I'm thinking "What the fuck? I formatted the god damn partition prior to install so anything that was on that hard drive is long gone..." I go over there and I shit you not she has like 5 different forms of crapware/adware/spyware installed and she even downloaded one of those virus infested programs that give you an animated cursor at the cost of backdoor buttraping your PC.  I installed malwarebytes before I left the first time and she said she turned it off because it wouldn't let her install her programs. NO FUCKING SHIT, THOSE PROGRAMS ARE INFESTED WITH VIRUSES. I flat out told her she was the problem, and there is no way any viruses would be left over from my previous cleaning and fresh install. When I told her it would be another $25 to clean it, she told me since I didn't clean it right the first time this time should be free. At this point I'm almost to the point of getting visibly frustrated and told her in a pretty mocking tone "Sure, I'll do it for free this time. But when you call me tomorrow, I wont touch this computer without $50 in my hand."

Fucking shit I hate stupid people. Is learning new things really THAT hard for elderly people? Shit..

Most elderly people wouldn't have a clue how to download anything at all, or install programs, or disable things. So can't say learning things seems that hard for her.

I'm pretty sure she just googles "install (program name here)" and downloads whatever comes up, double clicks it and says yes to everything. On her previous install she had so many damn toolbars I didn't bother to count them, probably upwards of 10 - 15. I can't say she has learned much. To prevent this type of thing I installed Firefox along with adblock and noscript, but then she started bitching about how she couldn't play her facebook games, so I white listed all of her facebook games. Hopefully she doesn't call me back.

Tough luck i see. You should have refused to fix her PC when she asked you to do it for free.

We (Dex and I) narrowed our topic to "The Perception of Time" for the science fair. Huzzah! We got quite a bit of work done today (IMO).
