So, turns out my little brother's school has a lot of half-days.
Looks like it can't even afford to stay open all the way.

I'm not much of an advice giver, but I'd have to agree with everyone else, Dex. Everything always works out it in the end, and this is probably only a temporary thing anyway. Plus, parents are there to support you. Everyone makes mistakes, and parents are there to have your back no matter what. You shouldn't feel bad for relying on them, I'm sure they want you to.

As for half days in school, I get two per month. Plus PA days and occasional early dismissals. My school is pretty awesome in that sense.

Try your best, but don't ever give up and lie down to cry over it. That you can do when the situation is under control, and fixed.
