Also, it's a bad sign when I've listened to three Essential Mixes today, all while studying.
That's a lot of studying.

Just got back from my first day on the new job.

Cleaning up hospital parking lots/entrances.

Today was supposedly the 1 day they use each month to power wash the entrances, and it wasn't so bad, mostly because I had a guy showing me the ropes and helping me out. It'll be interesting when I get to start doing it myself, that's for sure.

Didn't get to power wash that much blood. Ironically the only place where I got to wash blood off was in front of the plastic/reconstruction surgery department, and there wasn't any to be found in front of the Emergency Room.

Gonna get my on the job training for sweeping the parking lots on sunday or monday.

Around here it's customary to put it up in the christmas eve morning.
Maybe the difference has something to do with us having mostly real trees and they need to last till epiphany without shedding all over.

Here we put Christmas trees up when we want to. If I'd wanted a tree in March I'd have damn well had one.

One time we actually left our Christmas tree up that long... although it was due to laziness.

We put it up a couple or one day before Christmas, and take it down on just after new years eve.
