Yeah, all schooling is free. What costs here is everuthing else, Like the books you need.

Somewhat similar here. It's not free for all by a long shot. But quite a lot of us get "government sponsorship". The libraries also have all the books we need, so that isn't a problem either.

Same in Poland.
All national schools are free (including universities) if you attend them from monday to friday (so it's like your work and you don't have time for anything else). If you want to go on the same faculty, but in the weekend system (saturday-sunday once per week or two) you have to pay tuition - that's because you've got time for work

Yeah...I've been super busy. Zero free time. I'm paying for my laziness in high school (literally). My parents refused to pay for college (which is okay, it's not like i'm entitled to their money anyway), and now I'm working alongside my class schedule to help pay rent/tuition/living expenses. Independence is kinda nice though

WB!  Working while going to school sucks.  I did it for most of my college years.  Although most of my classes were covered by scholarships, I still needed money to pay for transportation and other expenses.  I think at one point I was taking 12 hours of classes, working 35-40 hrs per week, and driving a bit more than 200 miles a week to get to and from school.  It got to be pretty stressful.

Over here it costs £3725 a year, but the government has special grants and loan schemes for all students to help fund it, so in theory anyone who wants to go to uni can do so without having to work at the same time to pay for it. Although the current government increased fees to £9000 a year for all students who started uni last year or later, with equivalent funding increases to pay for it, which is making it harder. Still a lot better than you Americans' system though.
