Thats unimaginable, i use the internet for school every day, how can it not be essential?  In countries like france and finland the internet is a human right!

I can understand internet, but TV? Jeez. I only got into the internet when I was 14. Before that I only went on for half an hour a day to play games.

Anyway, I had a handful of consoles back in the day.
NES, SNES, Sega, Sega Saturn, PS1, PS2, NeoGeo, 3DO..(and of course, the original Game Boy) But then computer gaming, or more to the point, online computer gaming, stated gaining traction and I haven't messed with consoles since, other then emulators from time to time. I admit I have been debating getting a PS3 tho so the nephew has something to play when he is here.

Heh, anyone else remember the old handhelds that only supported one game? I was digging around at my parents house the other day and I found an old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hand held game and some Ninja one.

I will be without real access to the net soon cuz i"m moving, lucky me I have internet in my phone, and I can plug it to the PC as a modem, it will probably suck hard so just for email and maybe some BBT but i wonder if I can actually make it leech anime torrents at some decent speed. If not, I'm sure i will find a McDonald's nearby with free wifi if worse comes to worse.

I grew up with SNES, but I agree that the NES games were better, and usually more challenging.

But you can't deny the ColecoVision was a fucking mindblowing console.

Most of the stuff is packed, I don't need to take furniture. The place is ready, i'll be living there for over a year, and since this is my owned  apartment i am at right now I am going to rent it out for that time. Additional income always welcome.
I'm moving out around 8th January, then formalities and stuff, some training and it will take me around a month or two for everything to sit in. It will be a new field of work for me so it might take a bit of time. I'll stay away from internet and anime not to distract myself too much, but I will need at least something to watch so I am hoarding anime on HDDs.

I'm moving a long distance so my gf doesn't like it, she is staying here, and then she will move to her folks.
I hope I can start everything very fast cuz I would really hate to get back to some stuff. And i hate stalling shows I am watching as there are a few.

I never got to put my hands on a ColecoVision.
I do still have an NES connected to one of my TVs. People come over and laugh saying stuff like "omg fucking ancient or whatever" then I tell them "I Bet you wouldnt be saying that if mario was standing here!" and then I punch them in the face.

No but really, I do have one connected. Its surprising how quickly my friends like to jump on that thing when they come over. That damn nostalgia and old school d-pad are nuts.

Old games were the shit, not like cookie games now, those had content cuz graphics was not an issue.
Now we have brain washing games that doesn't really satisfy your lust for entertainment.
