I'm really glad anime isn't a big taboo here. many people still think it's childish though, and if shown that there are more mature ones they get weirded out and ask "why are they tackling serious stuff with cartoons?".

It actually makes me really sad sometimes when I realize how stupid mankind is, i mean, a large number of people believe in god, but when a serial murdered is caught and tells them god told him to slaughter they say he is insane. If he said Devil told him to kill, they would say, "Ok, electric chair for you, so you can see him again!"

If someone says they see angels, people laugh at such folks.

In fairness, about 20% is for kids, 40% is nothing but ecchi, 20% is moe moe kyun, 10% is quality and the last 10 is a mix.

Most anime actually sucks.
