I used to be absolute shit at anything arts related, I had no talent and would get D's in art class up through high school and could barely draw a stick figure. Then I got interested in Photoshop and now I'm easily better than anyone people praised for having natural talent. Interest and practice goes a long way.

My friend scored an A in elementary school for not drawing a thing, the theme was, a futuristic city, he titled his picture :Foggy London.

It originated from Alt+Q+Q, the keyboard shortcut to quit a game in Warcraft 2. It's what you would typically use while ragequitting. So when you were dominating someone, you would tell them something like "QQ noob". Coincidentally it also looks like crying eyes. This same context is still used in games, where bad players whining or complaining are mocked as QQing.

In non-gaming contexts, QQ is still generally considered to be a mockery of crying, implying sarcasm when everyone around you seems to be butthurt. If you use it in place of T_T or ;_; (which imply it's you who is crying) you might get called out for it.
