I rely on my skin for warm and cold, if I feel cold, i know I need to put something warmer on.

A cool temperature unit be at 0 at 0 Kelvin and at 1000 at 0 Celsius. It would be easy to way in everyday life AND in scientific contexts.
Scientists use Kelvin anyway, I don't think they would mind. And you should find an easy way to calibrate the instruments to use that new scale :F

I think it would make science just a little bit more intuitive wouldn't it? Many people think the double of 25 Celsius is 50 Celsius when it's actually about 323 Celsius (or 298kelvin*2=696kelvin). On another hand, it's obvious why we can't ask every rednecks out there to count in kelvins. And Fahrenheit are evulz.
Spacetime tells matter how to move and matter tells spacetime how to curve.

dislike Fahrenheit, but I grew up knowing it so it's impossible for me to imagine temperatures in anything else.

Indeed, I agree that using a more intuitive and logic scale ( instead of an arbitrary one like all the ones tyler uses d: ) would help diminish the gap between science and common life.
I don't know if it's feasible tho, implementing a calibration method may be tricky I believe.
But i'm not scientist either so i wouldn't know xD

Btw, one thing i don't understand, why there's still people who doesn't use the metric system?? I don't get it :/

I thought about using Celsius since its international, but I figured it wouldn't really matter if you don't live in the US or know US climates regarding specific states, so I left it in Fahrenheit.
Of course it matters, we're curious and lazy. That means we want to know all the details, but we don't want to do any extra work to find things out.
Ok, lets put it this way. Average temp here for this time of year is 0C but it was about 28.5 today.

Metric is for communists.

It was a disturbingly warm winter generally for this area of North America. There were only a few weeks where winter clothes were thinkable here, and we didn't see snow until New Years.

I'm worried about how hot the summer's going to be.

Lol. Worst part is I'm sure it's one of the main reasons.

Also...
The metric system is a system of measurement developed during the French Revolution's anti-religious Cult of Reason[1]

I learned just now that people in the UK will still use the imperial system sometimes. And that besides the US, there are only two other countries that officially still use imperial.

We occasionally use the imperial system here in canada too.

That was included in the info, but I already knew that.

Hate the Imperial System or the fact that Canada uses it occasionally?

Huh. I always thought it was because they are still clinging to their status as a british colony.
