Yeah, I do live in Canada, we have to spend some time attempting to learn it, it is an official language and all

I learned Russian for 11.5 years, so i'm fluent in it

I've had two months of Swedish, I only learned how to ask for directions, how to introduce myself and how to send someone to the pepper fields.

Afaik, Armenian is in an independant group of Indo-European languages from Slavic.

We are kind of related, yes. And Russian was obligatory in the 10 year school (that's how many years it was when i studied, now schools are 12 years as in the most of the world) and the first 1.5 years in the University.
