Latvia has a much larger Germanic heritage than does Estonia. It housing the Livonian order for centuries and all.
I'd say it would be in second place after Kaliningrad. There is a lot of Germanic architecture in Lithuania's lowlands as well.

And the only thing Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian shares with Russian except a few loan words is that they are Indo European languages.

That's quite impressive, and
Students protesting is not impressive tbh. If you know what I mean.
no, I don't.

It's impressive when you get on the news, like we did last year protesting Scott Walker eliminating collective bargaining.

Your small text didn't fool me. The only thing i know that comes out of wisconsin is cheese. Then again If it doesn't concern me I will shut it out most of the time. And make fun of florida all you want. I will probably agree with 100% of what anyone says.

There was 200,000 peoples at the demonstration according the newspaper le devoir. It's the biggest demonstration of the province's history with the one against the war in Iraq in 2003.

Quebec needs to get it's shit figured out. There was a demonstration where violence happened at McGill last year right?

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

No, they already figured their shit out. If only Americans could learn something from them and do something besides parking their collective asses while their freedoms and rights are being taken away bit by bit.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Lol?Dude, you don't have to go last year to learn about a violent protest at montreal.  Every single year, they make a protest against police brutality and it always turns into... wait for it... police brutality. The last one was not even 2 weeks ago.

But what does it have to do with a perfectly pacifist 200,000 people demonstration?

Edit: Here's a video of the most violent protest I have participated to.  A traumatizing experience. It was in 2005 after the loans and grants program was cut.
Edit2: I think this video captures even better just how huge yesterday's demonstration was. You should probably turn the sound off though unless you like bad music.

I've only been to one major protest, and it was the G20 in Toronto.  I don't think i'll try taking part in anything that big again.

My group was peaceful, quiet, and relatively out of the way. We were still being treated as though we were infected with the T-Virus by police.

You know that the government wasted a billion in 3 days on security back then. Talk about wasting people's money.

Off topic or whatever, I know, but, its weird, I was just looking at my post history trying to find something and its weird looking at the people who were active on the forums back in those days but who I havent seen in ages.

I bet I have more digits then I would need to count how many have stayed active over that time.
I think the influx of new users may have contributed to my change in posting style over time.

Anyway, whatever. It was just an off-the-cuff and pointless observation.

/sigh. I need to find something to do besides mess around on BBT. However, the weather sucks atm, so I dont feel like going anywhere and I dont feel like playing games.

Hah. Had the same feeling just a few months ago, but in a mmorp. Just logged on, and there were no one there I could say I knew. All the old people. gone, consumed by new games, real life, and so on.
Kinda sad, but that's the way life is; new ones are born, the old ones slowly dies out..
