Our faculty being directly attached to the faculty of mathematics. And seeing them on a nearly day-to-day basis, I've got plenty of examples of mathematics being similar to Lovecraftian horrors. It's a form of knowledge that cannot be unlearned and which leaves a mark on anyone who participates in them.

Not exactly. Most types of knowledge just makes you a cynical bastard, studying mathematics on the other hand seems to be equivalent to a brick to the head.

Having said that, I suppose I'm not one to judge. Having a constant aroma of sulfur and chlorine around me.

Frankly, I have never seen any group of people that fits stereotypes as much as math students do. You can actually tell they like math by looking at them in most cases. Let alone hearing them talk.

Empty has his 4-story house, 30acre lot, pool, personal (but apparently public) golf course, and a nice golf cart.
I'm not entirely sure of Tomoya's possessions, but he is rich.
