a random thought i was thinkin of earlier today.
In every religion there is a time of peace and happiness when they create the world and the people but there is one that have a way different start. According to the norse "bible" it was a big war between everyone at the end the world was no more. The world we live in now is the surviving pieces.
If you read it you will learn that a snake lured eve out of heaven (women is the blame). The first time in heaven was perfect, no hunger no pain no nothing.. then suddenly the snake trick them into being kicked out and there is the start of our history. How we ended up a few billion people on the earth its a question we cant answer.
In norse it was a full blown war between the gods and some even got killed. Not even the church was able to remove the vikings when the pope tried to own the world. Only thing that worked was politics and bad talking them (higher tax and make it harder to sell goods).
It was no bs about -be as good as possible and you go to heaven-, only way to go to heaven (valhalla) is to fight until you cant fight no more and when you die you come to valhalla. Enjoy a few beers with oden and have a laugh.
I would love being a viking
All we have left now is a -turn the other cheek- mindset and noone do anything. Our (swedens) way to handle things is to bend over for anyone, we are not allowed to fight back or we get marked by the govement. we are not even allowed to say what we think, they want us to stay quiet when someone is doing anything bad and forget about it.
Its pure sad, nothing good comes out of it.
Im not starting a conversation about it (since i go close to the limit in subject), its only a thing i was thinking about today and i want to share it with you guys.
