Interesting email I have received and decided to do it.
Friends asked me to come over to them for a week, in 3 weeks, we will watch anime, drink beer, chat with girls and go for some party. I was like, did they wanted this to be a casual invitation ? cuz they failed.
I know what they are up to so I said hell fine i'll do it, for their enjoyment, went to see my boss (who was on a smoke btw, just contributing to cancer and stuff, we polish have a few funny sayings about people wanting to go for a smoke but i'll leave that out as it's hard to translate it to make good sense of it) and talked it over with him asking for a week off.
Problem is, we have a project coming up and I should probably stick to office in that time, but we found a compromise.
Since all the reports go to my office mailbox anyways I will be on away so I don't need to take any days off and will (probably) be able to work. I didn't say a thing about anime or parties or anything. Cuz that would be suspicious. At any rate, this will work and i'll get to do some stuff with friends. The project will move forward and i'll probably be too smashed in the evenings to care. Another problem is that if this fails i'll likely lose my contract
But I really like those get together stuff we do occasionally with friends to watch anime with unsuspecting ignorants calling anime cartons for kids cuz we usually serve stuff that is ABSOLUTELY not for children (Sometimes we go as far as school days or Kimi ga nozomu Aien, Kannatsugi no Miko or just plain straight Elfen Lied and we will likely go with KissXsis or Aki Sora this year) for obvious reasons.
The menu for this year was pretty funny but then again we will enlighten more than usual amount of people this year (6 new friends that have no fucking idea what they got into lol).
What we have :
-Projector
We used to run it on a 46" plasma but the audience increases yearly so we going to go with projector this time.
-7.1 stereo surround sound system
We have a place where we can run this, not even paying for it, our friend has a nice place where we can do this with up to 21 people
-drinks and food
-6 days schedule
I so love those moments
The fact that they decided to run it in May this year is suspicious as hell but I don't give a shit. It'll be fun.
We got 2 new friends that are muslims(twins, boy and girl), so it ought to be interesting no ?
We will not run Yosuga no Sora as we planned though, might be way too much for them, so we will stick with School days as grand opening

We still have to decide 2 other shows (26 eps max per show) or 1 show and 3-4 movies.
The style of our party is that the first show has usually been School Days until Yosuga no Sora (yo ucan't fucking say that is for kids lol) then we go with something light hearted like nanoha or something similar to calm people's rage at Makoto, and then usually finish with something tearjerking. Last year we used School Days and Bakemonogatari and then went on with Dog Days (bakemonogatari and DogDays are shorter than 26 eps) so we went ahead with Fate/ Unlimited Blades Work as well (since I own the original) and though about some other movie but conveniently it all worked out great. Though I wanted ToLoveRu2 but we had people who didn't know what the hell is this shit so we passed on it.
So, if any of you have anything to add to the list of airing shows i'll be glad.
OPening ceremony will be with School Days. which will go in 2 evenings (6/7 without the goddamn ovas)

movies come in mind when we have a short light hearted airing and a short tear jerker/touching airing.
Most touching shows are done earlier and we just go all out and marathon which gives us some time for 2-3 movies.
We used the movies as filler time only 2 times and we do this for 6 years now.
i bolded my choices, we have a rule allowing to forward 2 choices per section, since the group grows it helps select the best choices.
We haven't selected movies yet, but if you can input your choices it could be nice.
there are two rules:
-Any genre except too echii/hentai-ish so nothing too explicit, but somewhat gory and bloody is acceptable.
-Cannot be based on anything that would require us to Air a pre-series.
Now, some would question the use of UBW last year, well, technically it doesn't break the rules, UBW is not exactly explicit, and it's just a whole different arc of Fate/Stay Night, so it's not requiring anything from us to do a pre-airing.
