Personally I don't mind moe shows, but also I wouldn't mind less of them, in fact, that would work for moe shows if their numbers decline. Becoming more unique, fluffy, and welcome for a sort of more light-hearted needs.

If the trend goes that way, it's going to be a success, but then again, moe shows always crawl into the audience, despite them being outright plain or complex.

I do agree, they should balance a bit. They should make bit MORE serious stuff and bit less Moe stuff, but they MUST keep doing moe stuff, Le me thinks.

To me, moe is okay, but too much if anything will make anybody sick.

Back to K-On!!, I thought Yamada Naoko really captured what teenage girls are like. Sure, at first glance, the show seems to be about a whole lot of nothing, but on closer inspection, we see that the motifs of friendship and graduation as a loss of something special are very well done.

Whenever I feel like hating moe, I remember Aria. I just can't bring myself to hating that show.

Aria is moe?  I think you might be confusing slice of life with moe.

It looks moe-ish to me too.

^Maybe a little to some extent...

But it's far from being the generic-clichéd type.

Yeah, it's definitely missing some aspects.

I see that I still have a lot to learn...

On a different subject, wtf, it seems like everyone I know is rather suddenly planning something for this weekend.  I go for weeks with hardly anything serious going on on the weekend aside from house-related work and some casual gaming / drinking.

Now this weekend, my aunt & uncle want me to come visit, some friends want to do something Saturday night, Friday is a birthday dinner for a friend of my roommate that I know, Sunday is an outdoors park birthday get-together for another friend I haven't seen in months.  Also, this weekend my company is moving us to another office so Friday will be a chaotic.
