On elliptical machines/treadmills and them things.. when you live in a place like I do, where it's frigidly cold half of the year.. I can understand why people would want to be able to run in their own houses.  Especially considering that running outside could very well end with you breaking a bone from falling on some hidden black ice.

Agreed though, some of the games out there.. are.. ridiculous.  But people seem to be drawn to ridiculous...

How do you expect us to be good at ice hockey? We can't even build the stadiums right...  ;D

Oh please, do tell! I expect some freak accident where the roof of the stadium collapses or something like that.

Nope. Just build the protective barriers stupidly enough so that about 50% of the seats are basically rendered useless. Happened here and they don't have the money to fix it.

Oracle? Origin? But yeah, it's basically Steam, just a bit more annoying, which is quite something. Worst is, that now if you want to have riginal games, you have to have both Origin AND Steam. That's a hell lot of malware requied to run games.
I really love what EA did with C&C tho. Turning great, fun RTS into... ehm. I don't even know what the last game in the series was. FPSRPGRTS adventure Sonic the Hedgehog racing game with freaking amount of cutscenes?
And Bioware. You can feel the EA from them, more so in every game. Their only luck is that they are too big to just cut into parts and resell.
Good thing about EA is that they bring incredible amounts of money into the industry, but the bad thing is that they don't care about consequences, as long as they make certain profit. If the consequences are ruining game title with decade or more of tradition and bankrupcy of the developer... Well. So be it.

I never quite understood sport games tho. If you want to do sport, do it.
It's like those people who go to gym and run on the running mashine, even tho it's nice sunny day with ideal temperature outside and they live next to a park.

Same thing can be sair of FPS games, why play them ? buy a gun and start shooting people for real!
Feel the power and weight of taking someones life! And the best part is: You can't cheat lol!

I pretend I like older games because my PC is too shitty to run the new ones.

Wait, I mean uh... I'm totally not shit broke.

I miss a lot of the light hearted childish fun found in older games. So on certain occasions, I am far more likely to bring out an emulator and play some SNES or GBA title or some old adventure game over anything current gen.

There are few games made nowadays that you can play with a giggling smile out of the sheer lunacy. Out of what I played and can recall right of the bat, I suppose I'd only count portal, recettear, magicka and plants vs. zombies. Though I've heard of quite a few indie games I want to try as well.

While there are quite a few gems I greatly enjoy, modern AAA titles kind of feel like the popular nerd media of the 90's, i.e. it has to be dark and edgy.

Thankfully, the gym I go to has a pool. Nothing beat's swimming in a nice pool, going to a sauna and then sitting down in a jacuzzi while watching people outside struggle through a blizzard <3. A lot of that shadenfreude gets lost in the warmer months.

Agreed, however the place where I live for now doesn't have a nearby pool, well, maybe the local sport school does but sneaking in would be bad XD

To me, an hour swimming beats down 3-4 hours of gym, and you don't sweat as much hahah XD

Where I was yesterday.

Later the manifestation fused with another more conventional and I left because it looked more aggressive. Especially since our government decided to pass a special law yesterday to end the strike. I wasn't wrong, it eventually turned into a riot. Sometime, I wonder if my government is actively trying to start a civil war.

No, I don't think so. They want to control their citizens, like in N.Korea and China.

Nothing wrong with it is it ?

No we where half naked because it was the demonstration's theme. We would have done it completely naked if there wasn't a law about it. Getting clubbed and pepper sprayed and shot with rubber bullets while fully naked by some overzealous polices isn't something most people want to experience in their life.
