Not sure if you lot are ready for this, but there was a wart on my exact spot where I walk on my big toe. Tried salicylic acid, didn't want cryo-thereapy so I did the manliest thing ever.

ELECTRO CAUTERISATION

Basically, you use hight voltage to burn the shit out of that wart. Over time, the flesh liquefies and the wart disappears. The best part is that because it's been burnt, there's no bleeding.

Interesting, but wouldn't a giant hunting knife be manlier? Especially if you do it yourself... oh and use whiskey for disinfection...

Probs would be a touch manlier, but seeing the smoke coming off of your skin, smelling it too, makes this super manly. + it gets geek points for using high voltage. Manly geeks strive to use HV in every situation possible

You jest, but a friend of mine actually did just such a thing.  He had a wart on the bottom of his heel that his doctor had tried to remove 3 or 4 times, but it kept returning.  My friend finally did a bit of self-surgery on himself without aenesthesia and cut the root of the thing out.  He claims to have a high tolerance for pain; I'd say it's true.

Anyways, I never understood how you can get a wart on your toe or whatever, never had one, though I love water so i bathe often :)

I wish water was beer pr good half-sweet wine or sake or something like that, I would never leave water Envirofacts  (<the fuck is that google ? I don't even know what it is! oh wait, i know, not related.) environment at all :D

On point of warts:  They don't necessarily need to enter through a cut, the reason people get them on their feet so often is because the viruses get compressed into the skin.. lovely stuff.  I have one on my toe that i'm too lazy to get rid of.  May have to try the electrocution business.

On point of bran:  I wish you luck. I'm terrible at self control like that. :P
