You were probably creeping on her and she was attempting to hide from you.
On a much more exciting subject, my porch repairs were completed today! I'm thrilled! I had some old weather damaged wood on my back porch, stuff that has been bugging me for years now, replaced with new wood, repainted. I've had a lot of issues with my porch, most of which I've gotten fixed this year, so I'm quite happy right now.
And I'm having the same contractors come back in June & July to do some other work for me. (First, I'm having the popcorn ceiling in my garage repaired, some boards in the ceiling that are sagging fixed ($500 for this repair); then in July, I'm having my popcorn ceiling in the living room replaced with knockdown texture & having some crown molding installed ($1000 for this job, including all the materials, which is a great deal).
By the time I'm done with these contractors, I may actually want to keep my house instead of selling it in a few years. One risk is that I might blow my vacation budget for next year on house repairs instead.
