AceHigh has previously given us a first-hand account of whale meat.  IIRC, he compared it favorably to other red meat (ie beef), and there was no mention of a blubbery taste to it.

Just saw "Prometheus" at the cinema, and afterwards we went and ate sushi; Good movie and great food. Awesome way to spend a friday night, recommended!

Of course I don't mean any animal to taste only of blubber entirely. Even beef has sub-tastes.
