I didn't understand that anime referred only to animation made by and for the Japanese (when used in western terms).

Japanese/Chinese/Korean Anime and American Cartoons are completely different styles.

They are both Animations, true, but different styles make the difference. Also, aside from some serious Disney animations nearly every other cartoon is just a silly mash up for the lulz, you can't say the same about Anime. There are so many genres for anime where cartoons only stick up to action or comedy.

Also you guys need to deal with it, I've never had AC. There's a reason I hate summers.

I don't have to deal with anything, I've got AC and money.  You can guys can live in your primitive non-AC homes, while I am living it up in comfort and not sweating.   

Or you could just have a properly built home. One of the bonuses with having cold winters is having well insulated houses that stay cool in the summer heat.

My house's construction is fine, although it's almost 30 years old now.  I do think I could use some more insulation up in the attic though, which is just one more of the many house-related things I need to do this year.

Ohio houses are typically well off when it comes to AC usage. Even during the summer you really don't need to use it at all xD

I like the idea of getting an AC. However, whenever I think that I would only use it for 3 to 10 days out of a year, it becomes hard to justify.

Hell, it's the 4th of june at the moment; It's 13 celsius outside my window.
