If you do disappear, and stop escaping reality, just make sure you don't but a bullet in your head or something.
Reality sucks, hard.
Gravity sucks harder :)

They claim to be Muslim, but that is as much as we all are Christians. Surely they hold on to some common Muslim values, but most "proper" Muslims I have met (the ones who goes to pray 5 times a day) do not even know Arabic language and read Koran in Turkish, and muslims are much more strict about reading sacred word in original language then us. Yeah, there are higher possibility that you will get a virgin wife here...but then again then you have to be Turkish and muslim to get these women, because family will not accept you if you are not one of them. Most of families will not accept you then. If you are a girl then it might be ok, but not that ok for boys.

90% of "proper" Muslims one see in Turkey are tourists from Arabic countries.
And harems are illegal in Turkey, yes, husbands do get Russian or some of that sort of mistresses, but its not much different from what goes on in non muslim countries. The divorce is legal and most wives divorce their husbands if they get a mistress, so - no different from us.

In fact Turkish people are annoyed by these kind of idiotic (its how they describe it) assumptions.

Well most Muslims dislike Turkish people claiming to be muslim, because most of them are not properly muslim.  There was this museum about religion I went to and spent some time reading and there was quite a lot about how other muslims countries do not consider turkish people to be actually muslim.

well that's that

I have decided - finish off all anime I have started watching and finish off stuff I have on my comp and take a break from anime. Need to get my shit together, not that anime is to blame, but I have to have as much free time as possible and no possibilities of escaping reality. Heh.
well then i guess i am wrong about the turkish people.... but that doesn't mean that they will give you hard time
if you haven't done something then that doesn't mean you will look down upon any other person who does that particular thing... that is what i think
and these 'assumptions' aren't idiotic as far as i think because that is the reputation that they have built for themselves... people still think of them that way is not their fault
i am pretty sure if you hadn't gone from Latvia(looked up your tracker profile) to Turkey you would have thought the same way as i did

and btw
why the hell are you planning to stop watching anime?!
they are awesome... and personally for me they keep me away from losers :P :D

Writing a report based on a research thesis on the structure of chromous silanidylidynesilan ide in German. I can prophesize the existence of a nice cold beer in my hand and a headache in the immediate future.

That really depends on where one lives. A lot of people move simply for this reason.

CrSi2

Because it was the best paper I found. And Germans tend to write them in German.

Quick computer question:

I just recently changed the thermal compound on both my CPU and GPU (used a Coolmaster brand) and I've noticed a significant drop in my CPU temps, but I'm curious about my GPU temps. While playing Skyrim (on high/ultra), my ATI 6850 gets up to around 77/78 degrees C. I have observed these similar temps before replacing the thermal compound (maybe a little lower) but the only thing that has changed is the ambient temperature in my room is around 83 degrees F (29 degrees C) versus what I observed similar temps with the ambient temps at around 75 degrees F (about 24 degrees C) ... so is the compound working or do you think I applied it wrong?

Room is warmer+CPU is significantly cooler? I'd say it worked. You're probs not noticing the change in temp on your GPU because it may have had high quality thermal goop anyway.
There must a be a reason for tanking things. And all must be in certain balance.
But what that balance is, must depend only on you, nobody else.

Yeah, this. And, to my extreme irritation (I have an HD4890), 75-80 Celsius seems to be pretty much the standard operating temperature when under load for modern AMD graphics cards, so there isn't really any problem with it running at those temps (although I really wish they did run a bit cooler).
