World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria?

ANOTHER expansion? Way to shoot yourself in the foot. Just make a new MMO already.

They need to keep the existing cash cow alive.  ::)

How many do they have now?
I know of another MMO that is up to 17 (18 by years end) now, but they are 6 or 7 years older then WoW.

Wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for multiple accounts =/

First off, that "cash cow" ruined the lore of Warcraft... but apparently no one cares because "It's an MMO". Second of all, well... Azeroth has gotten stale by now... I wonder how many subs they will have when Mists of Pandaria comes out.

I do care about the lore and that is why I hate World of Warcraft.

And one thing for sure, they won't be getting me back, never ever.

How can someone ruin their own lore? That doesn't make any sense at all. It's not like WoW is a spinoff of a great novel series and they're trashing key moments of it. They ARE the lore and they make it how they please.

World of Warcraft =/= Warcraft

In Warcraft, the Lich King was SUPPOSE to be the be-all-end-all boss. Nothing was suppose to be more powerful than him. Hell, even with the first expansion they ruined the lore.

The Lich King was an underling of the Burning Legion who rebelled and got "free." He's nowhere near the be-all-end-all boss. And thank you that you are emphasizing you "supposed."

EDIT: What I really wanted to say: We get Pokémon in World of Warcraft...

Eh, I forgot a "d" to make it past tense... I've seen people do worse.

And yes... freakin Pandas are the new "race" too.

Keep hating. I personally could careless about the lore. I'm surprised you people do. I play because it's fun in one way but can get boring after a certain amount of time, until a new patch hits. They gotta do something about "that".

Also, WoW is pretty polished. Unlike FFXIV or RIFT.

I dont play wow, but I agree with you Tatsu.
The MMO I do play I stopped caring about lore long ago, now I just enjoy the race to be the number 1 guild every expansion.

Raids and dungeons are fun the first time, after that it's just a boring gear grind. I just can't see how people can find it entertaining.

I find it entertaining so I we can get gear to have a head start when the next expansion drops, plus I can gear alts.

Tho I admit it gets old grinding for months on end after completion, but alcohol and vent conversations make the time go by.

So it's no longer about the game entertaining you... it's about you trying to find a way to entertain yourself while playing the game. Ummm... that's not a game. That's work with digital rewards (that become obsolete by the next patch/expansion). :P

True, but I enjoy the race and playing with people who I have played with for years.
The whole spreadsheet upgrade system is lame but the game for me is the competition and it achieves that well.
For me, its about learning and beating raid mechanics asap. And the game I play are 54 man raids and can be pretty damn intricate. You cant just throw bodes at it. Plus its hard to just abandon a toon you have had for 12 years, lol.

However, I am not talking about WoW, I dunno how it is there.

That! Gear grinding gets boring. They gotta fix that and bring in new things, which they are doing in Pandaria.

So the game doesn't have to be fun, it's just the people you play with have to be fun. No wonder Blizz makes so much money off of WoW.

With Pokémon I don't mean Pandarens but the new pet battle system.

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.
