Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns

Any other farmer nerds out there? Farmville doesn't count. It's a terrible ripoff of the classic.

Seriously, this is the first 3DS game I'm ramped up for so far. I love me some Harvest Moon and, despite it also being available (and already out) for the regular DS the 3DS version has a couple extra spiffy features I'm happy about.

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town on the GBA was amazing, but other than that, I've never managed to get into the Harvest Moon games. I'm not really sure why, since the concept is excellent. Also, it doesn't help that I don't own a Wii or DS, so I've missed most of the newer ones anyway. I'll probably have to give this one a go if I ever get a 3DS.

I never managed to complete Mineral Town though, since my GBA mysteriously crashed when I was about 50 hours in, and wiped all my saves :( Saddest moment of my gaming life, that was.

It would be crack to you now, as well. The PS1 game was basically a modified HM64 with a cooler looking village with the same cast of characters. If you have a PS3, I highly suggest buying the PS1 classic (it's under 10 bucks, I'm sure). If nothing else, it helps burn a few hours/days.
