What do you do when your bored?

unfortunately my choices are now limited to sleeping or actually leaving the house (a right not taken away because the only times I leave the house are when I'm forced to >_> )

Well I got in some trouble a few months ago and now on probation & lost my car, so Im afraid to talk to hang with any of my old friends (good people, but do illegal stuff, which I am not going to be returning too). Now Im stuck living back at home (at 28, ech) bored to death. ect. Also not speaking to my ex at all as her influence was the core of my troubles.
So now I just sit around on the comp playing games, and of course watching anime/reading manga. Also walk a lot and work out a bit. I used to do all that stuff too but it was more fun with my buddies. Its not boring per say, just a bit lonely. Also hard to get work now that I have to tell a job Im applying at that Im on probation. Im sure Ill be happier once I find a new job and meet some new IRL buddies.
WTB some new anime loving friends that I can hang with that wont get me a probation violation /cry
Also watching Clannad has me missing having a gf, and wishing I met someone amazing like Nagisa instead of the usual 95% of females I meet :(

Ah, another fellow Floridian. Welcome! There's certainly no shortage of weirdos to talk to here, so that should alleviate some of your boredom at least. I'm in Volusia County myself, so nowhere near your area. I lived in Lutz and Town 'n' Country in the early '80s, but if I've gotten to that part of Florida more than twice in the last 20 years, I don't remember it.

I live near there, Im in port richey now and lived in land o lakes for awhile too with a buddy. This area is so boring!
Glad I found this site/forum, good & not too spammy. And a good tracker I can dedicate my upload bwidth too as well.
Someone told me to try facebook for finding local otaku groups, I haven't used social networking since myspace, and that was just a source of constant drama with friends & females so I gave up on it heh.
