Just finished the first ep. of Another:

http://forums.bakabt.me/index.php?topic=31879.0Very creepy & moody; it's already a ghost story and it looks like it's going to earn a horror tag. Hoping they don't get full retard with it as it progresses. This one could be one hell of a ride if they do it right. If you know who ALI Project is, they're doing the soundtrack for it and (so far) it's exactly as good as you'd expect it to be. This is the first time I've started following an anime as it's being released in years, but I'm hooked.
Earlier in the night watched the first three eps. of Nekogami Yaoyorozu. My impression on the first page of comments here:

Over the weekend, watched
Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san and followed up with re-watching the first 4 eps. of the new
10-bit Boogiepop Phantom encode that was just approved. Holy God damn, that is one fine, fresh encode of one of my favorite classics! I'd forgotten how tasty that soundtrack is. A bit nostalgic for me since it goes back to a time when I was watching lots of fansubs with a university anime club in a small theatre; fuck yeah we felt all sorts of l33tz about it!

Gonna be re-watching the rest of that as time permits.
Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san is some pretty fucked up, black humor. If stuff like Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt and Hen Zemi get laughs out of you, this is similar. Yeah, it
goes there. But with demon summoning. Chibi-demons. Just about all the supporting characters (the human ones) are completely demented caricatures, about enough to put you off your breakfast.
Also sampled
Kiss on my Deity; I've had the Coalgirls 720 encode on my hard drive for over a year and discovered it while organizing & moving stuff during the Freeleech Holiday. In fact, I'm pretty sure I picked up during last year's Freeleech. Stalled on it after about 5 eps., but it's still pretty and a bit interesting, though it got silly with Sudden Superpowers Out Of Nowhere For Everyone. Probably finish that by end of month, time permitting. The girls are pretty easy on the eye ...

Just before Christmas I grabbed & watched
Nayuta. If you want to taste some Old School, psychedelic, hard-core Sci Fi anime from the mid-1980s, definitely check it out. Surprisingly good, even though a little bit flawed.
I've been pretty busy for a while now & haven't had as much time as I wish to watch anime or much of anything ... so I'm pretty happy with this grab-bag from the last several days.
