In need of an imaginary friend
Ixarku:
--- Quote from: goosi on November 03, 2011, 04:36:07 AM ---It's been like 3 years that I wanted to share my feelings and stuff with - you know - a real friend. But I never had any close friends. Had some friends hear and there but they're not very close.
So I've been thinking maybe I need an imaginary one. But dont know how you can make one.
I know it's a bit wierd but anyone has any ideas or experience in this stuff?

Real friends are much better than imaginary ones. Don't fall into the trap of being antisocial or too shy to meet people. It's much harder to break away from being shy when you get older and your behavior becomes too ingrained. Take a chance, make the effort!
Sarapico:
Some people call booze a good friend.
A pet can help, but try not to get a parrot (unless you’re a pirate, but then booze is already your friend). Hamsters, fishes, turtles, spiders and snakes don’t listen very well, a cat or a dog is the best bet.
Ashall:
The worst thing you can do is become anti-social. There is always someone else looking for a friend. Relationships need to be built and are well worth the effort.
Burkingam:
Yea I think if you want to have an imaginary friend without looking like an idiot without others thinking you're crazy, religion is the way to go. Just say you're a christian universalist. This way, if you ever make true friends, your not gonna alienate them by condemning them to eternal torture just because they have another interpretation of the holly babble.
Reape:
