Better browser is a matter of opinion. I personally would use IE before using google chrome. If I am going to use a locked down browser (or anything for that matter) it's going to be the one I don't need to install\mess with.
Be careful about using the word better. Better for me would be more customization. Remember UI developers are stupid so we need ways to correct what they screw up.

while i agree with you that better is subjective or depends on personal taste, remember that this thread is subjectively pertaining to the new mediafire upload system so the word better that i use was intended to say that google chrome has no problems on what the original poster was asking for ;)

Better is such a subjective word for browsers. Since IE is the only browser allowed on my PC, it is therefore the best one to use as compared to Firefox or Chrome. IE is better than Chrome or Firefox.
With browsers, the word "better" is more an ideological term than it is a compatibility or performance term. A lot of people like to have ideology, but under ideology, it is legitimate to benchmark performance comparisons between IE 6 vs the latest FireFox or Chrome and find that IE6 truthfully outperforms FireFox and Chrome (since runtime files for FireFox and Chrome are entered into the antivirus programs' block and delete lists). With ideology, I am not lying when I truthfully say that IE6 totally outperforms all versions of FireFox or Chrome now and forever. And that's the danger of ideology of having either Internet Explorer or Ayn Rand (Republicanism) economics as being best in all cases and situations.
