Android, all things japanese

(1/1)

womprat:
So I recently got a blade and I like it =)

Now Im wondering what apps you all use for any japan/anime/manga related stuff.

So far Ive tried Obenkyo for some kana and it works pretty good as a repetition tool.

Free apps preferred but not a must ;)

Ultra_Magnus:
Anime - QQplayer
Manga - Perfect Viewer

Oh, and I use handbrake to transcode anime for my desire HD, not entirely nessicary but saves space and battery life.

Bob2004:
Aedict - Excellent Japanese dictionary, also has visual kanji recognition, and one or two other handy features.

Very Easy Japanese Keyboard - exactly what it says, a Japanese keyboard. It only does hira/katakana and roman alphabets though, not kanji, so it isn't ideal. I'd love a proper Japanese IME for android, which does kanji etc, but I have yet to find one.

MX Video Player - for watching anime. It's easily the best video player I've found for android, and I've tried a few.

I use this for manga. It works great.

Other then that I just have an app that streams a few anime/jpop radio stations.
