Since when did piracy need a reason? To me it is the default option. I apologise if I caused offence, but I was merely giving a heads up.

However, I agree with you that you can't rule out the possibility that the guy who collects all the donations is pocketing a portion for himself. At the moment, we have no way of knowing whether that's true or not.
The Humble Bundle guys should seriously look into this and force the Brony Bundle to reveal his transaction history or w/e to make him accountable.

Well, they publish how much money goes to each developer/charity on their site, don't they? And if a developer wasn't getting the money they're supposed to, you can bet they'd make sure everyone heard about it. So I think the HIB is pretty trustworthy, it's too high profile and handles too much money for nobody to have found out if they're taking more money for themselves than they should be.

Why is piracy the default option?

I only said it was my default option.
Turn it around, why should paying for software be my default option?
Its purely arbitrary, because it is what I have been used to since I was, like, 12.

I think you may have misread, we're not talking about HIB, rather one of current top contributor calling themselves Humble Brony Bundle.

Could you link to HBB? All I'm getting from Google is face book and HIB.
