Places to visit in south korea?

If you're still looking for places, and you're interested in something that's traditional (Korean culture).  There's a Dance House where they perform traditional Korean dances with traditional costumes.  I saw it once and it was really pretty.  I would actually like to see it again if I ever got to visit south Korea again.  I think it was some fancy place in Seoul, but I don't know where because I was with a tour group.  I just went around with a tour group and saw the usual tourist stuff like the Korean Palace that was restored.  And the Blue House (it's Korea's White House).  I didn't experience any of the nightlife since I was with really old people in my group, but during the day I had lots of fun shopping for deals.  :)  Have you tried to google the location of the place you're going to in South Korea?  And maybe check websites like Travelocity for activities.

Just like any other country, Korea has a lot of places to visit. However if you plan to go by yourself, I highly recommend you stay within Seoul for the sake of convenience. Just as Tokyo and Kyoto are catered toward tourism in Japan (i.e. English signs, slower native language, ease of access, etc.) Seoul works the same way. Everything you want to see, ranging from clubbing, traditional Korea, shopping, and such are all found in that huge metro. Subways to anywhere and security in safety Seoul is your best bet for a all-rounded experience from Korea. If you want to see anything more like natural parks or beaches then you'll have to go out of your way to find them on the link I gave you. These places are are not as tourist friendly so there won't be a lot of English signs for you to self guide. You'll need a tour guide if your going outside urban areas into more suburban or rural areas. Also rural areas can be a little dangerous, so you might want to avoid it all together.

i've always wanted to go to Caribbean Bay in Yongin South Korea. it's apparently the biggest water park in the world, indoor-outdoor so it's open year round. they have this waterslide that i saw that does the loop. there's a famous music video of the park by Pop groups 2PM and Soshi.

aside from that i would like to see the weekly music shows Music Bank, Inkigayo, Show! Music Core, and maybe M Countdown (all located in Seoul AFAIK). the new years' Music Festival is huge, like one of the biggest events in Korea(by this i mean Pop music, not traditional).

i'd also really like to go to the Alpensia Ski Resort in Pyeongchang, especially once its finished. i doubt it will disappoint.

Those things sound like so much fun!  I would love to do those things too.  :)
