The "category recommendations" on mangaupdates.  I look up a shounen romance manga and all the recommendations are hentai.

Trying to get IT to install an SSD, then being told to DIY, but can't mount it because only IT knows the root password :P.

My whole school system amuses me at the moment.

Everyone in my class in the third year of high school is trying their best to get good grades for competing with the rest of the country. What people do not realize is that we have a national test which anyone can do in order to automatically get an immediate score which you can compete with others who did the same test to get into the same university as the ones who enter by grade.

What's funny is that people don't seem to know about this public, annual national test, which makes it a whole lot easier to compete with the test's score than with your grades. As the rest of the people in my school are struggling to get acceptable grades, I've essentially already gotten in.

The system is broken.

THINGS THAT AMUSE MAKE ME SMILE!

1) When I am getting pissed off at the radio because I cant find anything to listen to and then in one last act of desperation I hit a preset and there is a great song that I havent heard in a long time.

2) When I see fat people running/exercising. Not because its funny to see fat people running, but because I think it is great that they are trying to do something about their physique. Yea girl, even just one block, I respect the effort immensely! Every time I see a fat chick running all I can think is "You go girl!"

3)When I wake up early thinking that I didnt get enough sleep yet, then notice that the clock says I still have like 3 more hours to go.

I was studying with some friends for a midterm tomorrow and we're in a study room in our rez.

We got a question right so there was an outburst for a brief moment, so someone comes in and tells us to keep it down.
Okay, no problem, sorry.

As I'm walking back to my room, same guy comes out, smashed as all hell and as he opens his door I hear "BRO SIIIIIICK SHOT!".

Oh boy, Tuesday nights, going hard.

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

That's not amusing, that's terrifying.  Fucking land sharks!  The only thing that would be more terrifying is if they had wings.
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

Looks like a pigeon ate a great white.  Not sure whether I should pee myself in terror or pee myself with laughter.

Oh yeah I've got that too. Albeit a small airport because my University is in a small town...

But at this point I'm just used to it.

Yeah, living by an airport isn't so bad because it's regular noise - you get used to it. Someone I know used to live right under the approach path for one of the runways at Heathrow, so she'd regularly have all kinds of massive planes flying just a few hundred metres above her house constantly, at all times of the day and night. Nobody who visited could fathom how she managed to sleep with all the noise, but she didn't even notice it after the first few days.

When it's irregular, like sudden building works or (in my case) annoying students playing loud music, it's much more annoying.
