Hmm since it's christmas the keyword for searching a render with anime would be 'christmas anime render' so i gues 50% ?

Cba to comment on everyone's banners, but is there any particular reason for the FOOKING HUGE text on a lot of them? Look at what's already in rotation and try and match your text size accordingly.

i am just posting what i made, 1st attempt, to see it they appear or not, i cant see them, if they appeared or not....

No, they didn't appear, I had to copy the image URL to be able to see them.

Also, stop double and triple posting and actually read what you're supposed to be posting with your banners. You're not supplying all the info needed.

Same as before, submit your banners with a New Year/Winter motif here...

Requirements

● Submit in .png (lossless) format
● Width 980px
● Height 120px
● Matches site!
● Use the Joyful Juliana font.
● Keep at least 100px clear on the left and 200px clear on the right (Search box and RSS feed button).
● If the composition allows it put the image to the left and the text to the right.
● Tell us which anime it's from and the character(s) name.

Like before, you'll have more freedom if you wish to experiment, however try to keep the banners consistent. That goes for the font and the background colour scheme.
New Year motif banners will be kept in rotation until the end of January, 2012 - so feel free to alter your banner slightly and re-submit it in the regular banner submission thread if you want to keep it in permanent rotation.

Best banners will be awarded - 1600 Bonus points for every banner we choose (No limits to number of submissions).
Submissions will be accepted starting today and until 23. December.

Hhmm... :/ I don't see any rules about font size having to be the same in each banner.

If you want shoddy looking banners then go ahead. The overly large font just looks clumsy and like you can't think of anything to fill the space with so instead upped the size.

Go and look at the accepted banners, as I suggested already, and point out any that use type that fills almost the entire height of the banner.
