Description: The story is about a 15 year old girl named Suzuhara Izumiko; who was raised within the confines of the Tamakura Shrine deep in the Kumano mountains. Since she had spent most of her life there, her guardian Sagara Yukimasa suggests she attend high school in the city of Tokyo — alongside childhood friend Miyuki. During a school trip, a horrific incident occurs, and Miyuki learns of her fate as the last representative of a Himegami goddess.

P.A.Works produced the animation. Expect some awesome visuals! First episode releases today.

I just finished watching the first episode. It felt like it;s a show that wanted to be a movie, but would have been too long to be a movie, and it didn't have the budget for one anyway. So they made it an anime!

It was a good introduction. I doubt we know even half the players we will know by the end of the run. It left me with lots of good questions, rather than having me full of predictions. I hope better raws become available, so we can enjoy all the work that went into animating this show.

Very pretty anime.  Gorgeous artwork!  The series has an ending... kinda... sorta.... but leaves lots of room for continuation of the series, I think.  There's got to be lots of shadow folk lurking about.

A lot of wasted potential, if you ask me. It had an interesting premise, and beautiful art/animation, but the story went nowhere and character development was also quite sparse.

I dropped it when I fell asleep halfway through episode 7.

Yea on episode 4, I don't see anything interesting. I'm just watching it for the beautiful design and the critical audio picks. Story is meh and character (structure wise is good, but not development).
