This should be pretty entertaining. The book is a classic, so as long as they don't change too much, it should be good. The cast seems great too, so no worries on that front either. I'm looking forward to it

Yea Extended versions add... 30-45min more minutes each was it?

I also didn't realize this would be a two part movie. First An Unexpected Journey next year then, There And Back Again in 2013. That made me even happier to hear it would be in two parts.

extended ver. for Two Towers was 3h and ~30mins long... Fellowship of the Ring was around 3h & ~20min and the Return of the King was 3h and ~35min
