@AnimeJanai You should consider the possibility that not everyone celebrate Christmas the same way as you.

I wish I'd been able to go home and have Christmas with my family. I spent it with my other half's but it's just not the same and I feel like I've missed out a bit on the bingo and my aunt's terrible cooking.

Gonna go visit them next month instead :)

Merry Xmas to all.  I spent the day at my grandparents' house, visiting with some aunts, uncles, cousins, and their spouses & children, some of whom I haven't seen in 10+ years.  So it was a good visit.  And my grandmother, the wonderfully keen minded person that she is, gifted me with a bottle of Caribbean rum!

I spent 3 days last week with my lil family at my sis' whose about to give birth. What a great way to celebrate the holiday (even though I always have allergies when I go there because of their wood powered heating).

Now I just came back from a dinner with my extended family. It was nice too. Some of them I only see once a year. I got a cousin whom I get along with but we never get a chance to see each other because we are both very busy

Also OMG I forgot the name of another cousin and couldn't dare to ask. I'm so ashamed. And I still don't know how I'm gonna figure it out without public humiliation. OH GOD HOW COULD I FORGET THAT!?!  :-[ *Burkingam starts shivering in fetal position*
Edit:I found it on his sister's Facebook *Sight of Relief*

Wisconsin has no snow either.  It's been a pretty odd Winter.
No, but we got a killer football team.
Bars normally have free shots for each touchdown... Suddenly I am proud to support green and gold!

Plus, we stomped the Bears this Christmas. Even I can appreciate that.

Now I just came back from a dinner with my extended family.

Extended family? I am not sure I understand that definition right. Like adopted family members or something?

Now that my reindeer steak is eaten, I think I will make a nasty surprise for my girlfriend. She never tasted lutefisk before and I will make some just so afterwards she will be incapable of tasting anything again in her life time.  ;D
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Generally, its like this;
Immediate family = Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister
Extended Family = Aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc. Basically, all blood relations that "extend" past your immediate family.

I always thought you were evil, this is the proof.  Even I know enough about Scandanavians to know to avoid eating that stuff.  Kind of like how I know to avoid eating natto or live baby octopi or some of the other nasty stuff that some daring human somehow concluded would be tasty.

Merry Christmas btw. A little late but one day only
