Windows Update

hi all...
should i update my windows?
the reason im asking this is because after ive update my windows, the balloon tips is missing...
for example: i ejected a thumbdrive but there is no "safe to remove..." balloon tips...

if there is any solution to fix the problem, please tell me ASAP because im planning to format my laptop this weekend (short holiday)...if not, im not updating my windows ever again!!

no...i havent done anything yet...
i think windows update have *something that makes my problem...

Select what updates you want... Some of them I would recommend getting since they fix security flaws.

Well, fyi, i update all in the list...is there any flaw in my lptp? My friend suggest me to format it...sigh...so tiring...
